This year we have modernised our overseas service and now offer two different types - Thomson Hotel & Thomson Resort service. Ensuring that we continue to offer a tailored and valued service, each property is defined as either.

T and T-Plus Rating

Based on our annual appraisals and your views, we have rated our collection of hotels, studios and apartments - ratings start from 2T for no-frills, good value accommodation to 4T for more comfort and a wide range of facilities. In addition to T ratings some properties have been idenified as offering that 'little bit extra' so, to reflect this, we have awarded them with a T-Plus rating.

Thomson Small and Friendly 'Select'

Some of our hotels deserve a particular mention and therefore have been awarded a 'Select' status. Such accolades are bestowed on properties that are guaranteed to provide you with that little bit more in terms of luxury and comfort. Set in hospitable surroundings, they are chosen for their unique locations,
top class service, welcoming ambiance and the little added extras that make your holiday so special. Select hotels are available in the Neapolitan Riviera, Thassos, Crete, Costa del Sol, Algarve and Costa Dorada.

Thomson Small and Friendly 'Value'

'Value' rated hotels are ideal for those looking for comfortable, value for money accommodation that still retains all of the rustic charm and personal service for
which Thomson Small & Friendly is renowned. While these properties may not boast the facilities of grandeur hotels, they are full of charm and give you a true flavour of your selected destination. Value properties are
available in the following destinations: the Thassos, Crete, Costa Brava, Santorini and Zakynthos.

'Accommodation Only' basis excluding
flights and transfers - so if you
want to organise your own flights and
travel arrangements, Thomson gives you
